Christian is Rhino Ark’s Executive Director, with a demonstrated track record of working in forest and wildlife conservation in Africa. He has over 27 years of experience in forest and natural resource management, engaging with governments and communities, establishing partnership and fund raising.
Christian is a dedicated professional whose experiences and achievements have been recognised at national and international levels. He is an honorary Warden and the recipient of six awards. Formerly a technical advisor to the Prime Minister of Kenya on montane forest conservation, Christian was also a co-opted member on the Board of the Kenya Forest Service. He has also participated in three Government Task Forces on forest resource management in various capacities including as chairperson.
Christian holds a Master's Degree in Science from the University of Leuven (Belgium) and a Bachelor’s Degree from the Université Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium).
