Board Member

Adil Khawaja has served as a member of the Rhino Ark Board of Directors since 2018. Adil is the Managing Partner of Dentons and an internationally recognized leading lawyer. He specializes in commercial law, corporate law, real estate law, energy, oil and gas, commercial litigation, and arbitration.

He also has vast experience in land and environmental law, and served as a member of the Task Force on the Inquiry into Forest Resource Management and Logging Activities in Kenya. In addition to his role at Dentons, Adil is the Chairman of Safaricom Ltd. He was previously Chairman of KCB Bank Kenya Ltd, Director at Kenya Power & Lighting Company Ltd, and Director of CMC Motor Group.

Adil has a passion for philanthropy, conservation, and adventure. This has brought him to the Rhino Charge where he has been competing for many years and where he is among the top fundraisers. He served previously as a Trustee of the Kenya Wildlife Service and has been an Honorary Warden for many years. He also served as a member of the National Environment Council.
