Board Member

Mariam Abdullahi has served as a member of the Rhino Ark Board of Directors since 2022. With over 20 years of experience in both IT and Telecommunication industries, Mariam’s career began in the automotive industry in the UK where she led the European IT Services & Outsourcing for Ford Motor Company Group. Since then, she has held various leadership positions in Sales, Operations, Customer Service and transformation lead roles at multinational organizations including Microsoft, Oberthur Technologies, Brightpoint, Zain, Emirates telecommunications company ‘du’, and SAP.

Mariam has also worked in many global locations including the United States, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. As the Africa Director for Android Platform Partnerships, Mariam is responsible for the overall strategy for growing Android and Google business partnerships in the African region. She presently serves on various boards, including in the financial sector, GSMA Africa, and several start-ups.

Mariam holds a Bachelor of Science with a special focus on Computer Science and Business Management from Brunel University, England.
