Rhino Ark has received Ksh4m. from the Safaricom Foundation for fence construction. The funds are being used for where the build team are currently working on the elephant corridor section fence which links Mt. Kipipiri with the main Aberdare range.

Part of the corridor section can be seen by visitors who travel from Naivasha to the Aberdare National Park on the western side of the Aberdares where it runs along the road. This is an all-plastic section of fence.

Rhino Ark wishes to thank Safaricom Foundation for its continued support. Our fence construction programme has received funds totalling over Ksh 9 million from Safaricom Foundation since 2003.

Members of staff of Safaricom Limited are planning a visit to the area to assist our construction team build a section of the fence. This is the third such staff visit to date.
