Rhino Charge Committee has appointed Tarpo Industries Ltd as the outfitter for the Spectator Camp for 2008 Rhino Charge.

The 2008 Rhino Charge will have two distinct areas for camping: Competitor Camp and Spectator Camp. This system was introduced last year and proved very popular.

In the Spectator Camp designated areas, Tarpo will have the following operating centres:

• A two tier fully equipped full board camp (On pre-booked basis only)
• A two tier self catering camp (On pre-booked basis only)

Tarpo will have a food and drinks outlet set near, but within easy access, to the self service spectator camping area.

This outlet will be open to all - competitors, spectators, sponsors and officials.

Tarpo will also be running a snacks and drinks outlet at HQ and at the Gauntlet.

It also wishes to assure everyone that the venue is in an area where no post election security issues have occurred.

Pledge deadline extended to March 31, 2008

The Committee has decided that in view of recent past circumstances within the country, the pledge deadline is to be extended until March 31, 2008.

Chargers are urged however, to maintain the fund raise momentum as the funds are needed as much as ever given the recent circumstances.
